Structural projects

Since its founding in 2006, an integral part of the cluster’s DNA has involved envisioning not only the changes in our sectors but also the future needs of members. With the strong-framed projects which we are helping to design, the idea is to provide you with shareable platforms, test labs, or areas of expression or co-creation which could barely be developed alone.

A fine example of this is la Minoterie, our co-working structure at Pôle Pixel in Villeurbanne, where we offer a tie-in to our sector’s independents, free-lancers and micro-entities, for use in co-creating projects or exchanges serving new types of content and new business models.

Of course, the “residents” can work on line and align with the cluster’s management staff and thus develop their projects under the best possible conditions.

With the Lyon Urban Data project scheduled to begin in January 2014, we’re offering a test lab on a neighborhood scale. This usages lab, an extension of your own R&D, fits the new Imaginove sphere. Its aim is for new usages to be tested and for the city of the future to be imagined. Plentiful and structured public data, usage tests, focus groups, consumer panels and prototyping will be available and on hand to help you confirm your projects, ideas or ergonomics advancing on the market. Working closely with Grand Lyon and its private partners – SFR, EDF and Veolia – the primary goal is to be the top European space for anticipating new usages in the city of tomorrow.
